Air Support
We're not always alone out there. Sometimes we have some very intimidating friends buzzing around. Attack helicopters like Apaches and Kiawas patrol the Main Supply Routes (MSR) and give us cover. They are not always there, but it's a comfort when they are. Sometimes they'll tell us where to look for bad guys.
It's nice to have them around.

There are also F-16s, F-18s and F-14s in the area. As a matter of fact, right next door to where we sleep is the airfield where the F-16s take off and land.

You can't believe how loud they are. I would supply pictures of them, but it's against regulations to take pictures of the flight line. That's one rule I'm not going to break.
