happyrobot has recently uncovered copies of rejection letters from the Grant a Wish Foundation, the New York based organization which grants terminally ill children one wish. While many are granted, many more (as we found out) are not.

This is just a sample of what the foundation DOESN'T grant, leaving hundreds of children with their wishes unfulfilled… (many thanks to our intern Tamara for all her hard work)

Dear Horatio,

Unfortunately, we are unable to grant your wish to be "a flaming gay dinosaur" at this time. We consulted scientists at the Museum of Natural History who felt that it would be impossible to faithfully recreate just a simple dinosaur, as you are a small boy, and not nearly large enough to successfully impersonate the prehistoric wonder. The scientists also noted they lacked data regarding sexual preference, as it cannot be traced by carbon dating. They would have trouble rendering a dinosaur who sought the pleasure of other same sex dinosaurs.

Upon further scrutiny, the department confirmed they have no such knowledge of either a "fagasaurus rex" or a "dykeseratops" having ever existed as you mentioned in your letter.

Good luck with the colon probe!

Sincerely,

The Grant a Wish - NY
