Palestinian Leader Arafat Dies at 75
I never have really understood the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Aside from it being a pissing match over a small parcel of sacred land. I'm guessing each of the two sides are pretty equally guilty at this point, and why don't they just draw a line and stop already. What I do know is that Israel flies our planes and they have nuclear weapons but they are not on out list of rogue nations.
And Palestinian terrorists step onto busses and blow themselves up, but is this just because they don't have the money to buy tanks and F-15s with which to run people over with? Perhaps.
Maybe now that the Red Sox won and the Red Skins loss of their last home game of the regular season did not correlate to Bush losing his, it is time for Israel to stop hiding behind the united states (un capitalized until Bush is gone) and let what happened 60 years ago rest, not to forget but not as an excuse either. To all the religious zealots: maybe read a few more of those passages that don't justify your behavior and see what happens.

Arafat is the new Elvis. He's dead, but he's not.

I wonder what the afterlife of a terrorist is all about.
