I've just been informed that Luckiest Guy is actually the Magnetic Fields. Whatever, I'm just reading off the screen.

lisa, you've no reason to be embarrassed. i'm listening to the soundtracks from all three of the lord of the rings movies. i even know the lyrics -- in quenya, sildarin and rohirrim.

(making huge L sign on forehead)

lisa   1/28/2005 14:38

I've been listening to Jeff Buckley's cover of "Back in NYC" on repeat since I got on the bus this morning. Probably 10 times.

Oh, but before that I listened to Norwegien Wood by the Beatles . . . and I giggled when John Lennon sparks up at the end.

I like those French Kicks! But a little of them goes a long way.

Even though I listened to them on a newfangled eye-pod, the last ten songs I e-cootayed were sequential numbers from a Barbara greatest hits collection called "Les Indispensables de Barbara" and a Jacques Brel best of called "Infiniment." The one suggested the other.
