Pearl Harbor: anniversary of the evil-doers
December 7th was the 62nd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. We watched this great National Geographic documentary about the attack, and it's just amazing how many breaks the Japanese got - the US was just totally not paying attention.
The website for the documentary has a really cool animated timeline of the events (click 'Multimedia Map and Time Line').

Dude, it's not that the US wasn't paying attention. The government let it happen so that we would hav ean excuse to drop our isolationist policies. Never trust the Man, man.
