I now see the attraction. Well, I didn't sing, but everyone else sang, and they sang until about 4am Sunday morning. It's that goofy performance thing I suppose, but it was great fun to watch.
Mrs. Robot's birthday party was a nice little affair attended by friends old and new. It was hosted by our gracious and lovely friend Jayne who said, "You guys should have a party at my place. My flight will be in around 10:30. Get my keys - it will be great to come home to a party."
And so we did. Saturday night in Brooklyn town was quite nice, too. Pretty warm, which was perfect for a party at someone's house who has a backyard. The only negative aspect was the constant, sudden rainstorms that came about every 30 minutes and lasted just long enough to make everyone run inside. And then stop.

Otherwise, we did nothing this weekend (like the concept of "weekend" has any bearing to me anymore). Nothing. And then today, we didn't even less than nothing. Actually, I did do some work on the happyrobot, including reading some of the AIM-Bot's logs from the past month. I know that 'thehappyrobot' is just a dumb AI program, but every now and then he is pretty funny. Like the time that he told a girl that God's name was "Rich".
Our friend Becky is coming to visit and sleep on our futon tonight (or as I like to call it, our "FUN-ton").
That should be fun. The cat likes her.

This is my to-do list for Monday, March 11:

Do laundy (now that I am unemployed, I can't really justify dropping it off).
Go to the bank
Transfer my 401K
Do the bills
Play with the cat
Read the weekend Times

Bowery Ballroom - April 20th. Mark your calendar, and if you don't live here, get your plane tickets now.
(Evan - go see them with us!)
(you, too)
(yea, and you. Yea, come on. No, you don't need a jacket)

Middle East Mall Plan
I walked through a group of scary protestors last week at Union Square. It was really creepy. The pro-israel guys were yelling all this anti-arab stuff really loudly, and at rush hour there were quite a few nervous looking arab-americans coming in and out of the train station. I am not sure what the other group's counter protest was based on because their signs were smaller and they didn't yell as much.
I am thinking of proposing a plan to solve all these problems. I mean, this is never going to work when you have this little bit of land that everyone in the damn world claims as his or her holy land (including Gary).
I say UN peace keepers roll in and pave the whole place for a mall. What better way to get in touch with your spiritual life than sipping an orange julius and window shopping at the Sunglasses Hut.
I mean, this would be a huge mall. Imagine it. You could see it from outer space. And the would take ALL credit cards there, including Discover.

Ok, yea, you are right. This is the suckiest idea I have ever had. But, I haven't seen GeorgeW coming up with anything better.

Barnes and Noble
B&N has almost become a parody of itself. Or at least the B&N "culture" has. I was there the other day (stupid amazon stupid not delivering stupid things on stupid time) and was almost laughing at the people just camping out there with stacks of magazines all over the store. I also love the faux-library feel to it... as if I spoke too loud somebody would shush me. In a way, I kind of wish that B&N would crack down on this 'trend' -- or maybe society just needs to get it's act together. I mean, on a dumb ethical level, is it right to go there and read 12 magazines cover to cover and not buy anything?
Am I getting old? Am I just tired of seeing fights between bums and retards in the B&N "café" like I did Thursday?

Dork I Be
I watched the star wars trailer on tv last night. I was kind of excited. I can't imagine this one can suck as much as SW1: Fear of a Jar-Jar Planet.

Anyone?
Chris Tucker. Now why do people like him? I don't know.
