It is a dozen pieces, and it weighs a ton. I hate it.

Wednesday I was sick. I have actually been fighting off being sick, and Wednesday I gave up. It wasn't until late in the afternoon that I was ready to eat again (it wasn't my stomach, it was my head - which should head off the next series of questions) so I had some Indian food. Amy's makes frozen meals that are fantastic. They are all Vegan (which I don't need, but it's fine with me) and I just found out that she (Amy) belongs to the same super restrictive religious cult that my mother in law belongs to. That means that all of Amy's foods are not "evil" - not at all like the gallons of Coke Zero that I drink weekly. When I was on the "Amy's diet" - you might recall all the soup - I lost a good amount of weight. There might be something to this "healthy" eatin' stuff.

I was just really busy at work yesterday (or I was too lazy to go out and get lunch, you decide) and I didn't eat a real lunch. I had some of these bars left from my last National Guard training (I usually carry a couple of these on my person "just in case") so I ate those instead of leaving the building. I also only had two dollars - and that played a pretty big role in my meal choices.

I met Stace for a drink and quick dinner at around 8pm. I think we were in and out of the bar/restaurant in less than 25 minutes. It was record breaking. We are regulars at this little place, so they knew what we were drinking and what we were eating before we even walked through the door. I think we set a record.

There is still a bunch of work to do in the house. I've been up past 0100 every night doing stuff, and it's wearing me down. I get up at 0700 to get ready for work. That's not super early, but it's early enough. I have been averaging 6 hours of sleep. I read a study a couple months ago about insomnia and weight gain. This study claims that you gain weight if you are not sleeping - part of it has to do with more waking hours to eat.

I dont' know if I have gained weight (see above about not weighing myself lately) but I am pretty sure I have not lost anything either.

The good news is - I am wearing my favorite shirt today (Thursday)
The bad news is - The city is inspecting my house for housing code violations. If I fail this time (it won't be the first) I may see a $1000 fine per violation, per day it's not fixed.

Actually, I'm not sure where the scale is right now.

Last night I spent many hours working on my house. There is a room that we call "the office" that has pretty much been the junk room since we moved in. In theory, I will eventually move my desk in here, but it needed a bunch of work done that I have not had time to do. The time factor stems from the fact that I have to move everything out of the room and spread out all the crap throughout the house before I can do anything -and then move it back when I am done.

We had some water damage from a leaky roof that I haven't had time to do anything about. I have secretly feared that it was really bad, and didn't want to mess with it. Last night I was taking down some shelves and the wall fell apart. I spent the next three hours repairing the wall. All things considered, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

On to the meatloaf story. Eve suggested I eat a meatloaf sandwich - so I did.
