I like the new design on the robot administration page!
So this morning as of 9:30 PM the AXE deodorant project is as finished as it will ever be--take that, cruel instructor!--and it looks flippin' awesome because I printed out a cover page in color (that I made myself in Adobe Photoshop) and all our powerpoint slides in color as well. "Spare no expense in the name of turning in a project that looks formidably cool" is one of my mottos. Since I also designed the powerpoint with Biff on Friday, it looks pretty sweet. Searching for photographs of "sexy women" on gettyimages turned up some very embarrassing results. I kept on having to scroll rapidly through the selections & hoping that the computer lab guy wouldn't look over my shoulder and ask why there was some semi-nude model draped in fishnetting on the screen.
I don't want to say anything about the trip because I don't want to jinx it--also the mad vacillations between YES-NO-YES-NO can be a little trying--but I think we're back on for good. Which is very exciting! It's also a little stressful since I have to put together Christmas and Birthday stuff for so many people. Here's the list--I feel that I should write it down to help me remember (or maybe one of you will remind me of something I'm missing):
little gifts for each one of my 4 managers at work like mini-boxes of chocolates
Xmas cards for various members of Biff's family
Xmas cards for my mom & dad
A small gift for our landlady
Xmas gift for Adam
Birthday gift for Robin
Birthday gift for Jill
Xmas gift for Biff's Grandma
Xmas gift for his other uncle & his uncle's wife
plus I'd like to make Biff's christmas wish come true.
Hmm...I think that's about it. Doesn't seem so threatening when I write it down.
If I saw any of you in person, I'd give you a big hug right now.
