my birfday is soooo soon. it's august 8th for those that mark these types of events on their calendar/palm pilot.
i will be 28. i like the idea of turning 28. it sounds so powerful. like you would put a 28-year-old in charge of the biggest account at work. or driving your car cross-country. or feeding your granny. or at least putting me down in the "contact in case of emergency" spot on an appilcation.
"and how old did you say she is?"
"oh, she's 28, don't worry, she's old enough to know."
