dearest ribbity, rabbity, happy roboteurs,
i am vacation for the next week. please TRY to make do without me. maybe they'll have computer kiosks set up in the grand canyon and i can write you mid-vacation. i will for sure write you if playing the 5-cent slots in vegas pays off...
here is my itinerary should you wake up wondering what i am up to:
saturday 10/12 - fly into Vegas at 11 am - yes, we're leaving nc at the ass-crack of dawn. my dad says i have to have a quarter ready to play the slot machines located in the vegas airport. he seems to think you are guaranteed to win.
sunday 10/13 - drive to utah. stop at hoover dam and lake mead. check into escalante b&b. look around.
monday 10/14 (2 year wedding anniversary! yay!) go to bryce canyon national park and escalante grand staircase national park. hike around. have dinner at café diablo. they serve rattlesnake cakes as an appetizer.
tuesday - more utah fun
wednesday - drive to the grand canyon.
thursday - visit grand canyon. haul my ass to the bottom and back up again.
friday - drive back to vegas. check into treasure island. choose between hook, wooden leg or eye patch. good thing i brought my parrot.
saturday - fly home. boo-hoo.
