Lisa Says: i'm a new foodie
a couple weeks ago i submitted my resume to aol's digital city to write raleigh nightlife and dining reviews. well, what do you know - i am now freelancing for them! while the gig doesn't pay all that much, i am not one to pass up the chance to eat or see my name in print.

i am excited to dog the restaurants that charge $22.50 for microwaved food and excited to praise the restaurants that charge $3.50 for a home-cooked, fresh ingredient meal. i will be on the prowl for hip, happening places that are the latest buzz. i picture myself crouched in a stall in the men's room furiously scribbling down the "latest word on the street". you'll come to raleigh in a few months and i'll take you to the best and brightest. you'll love it.

i'll let you know when i start getting stuff posted. for now, i can tell you that i will probably have to start a vigorous work-out regime to combat all the yum-yums out there.

i love food. i love words. food? meet words.
