office potluck lunch. is there anything that inspires so much terror as those words?
i'm happy to report that the rumor of someone bringing possum was a total joke. but one of my co-workers did arrive to work today with a grill in the back of his truck to grill up fresh venison steaks. and squirrel stew will also be served.
i do have a small rant about potlucks. i realize that not everyone knows how to cook, but do you really consider a relish tray a "covered dish"? and how about the person that only brings a 2 liter soda but then brings all 5 family members to chow down? it's all wrong i say. all wrong. i brought mashed potatoes and my world-famous choco-chip cookies. yum!
in closing, i have to say: viva starbux gingerbread latte!!
