And you - she had thought of you as "fuck yes" - you were the most interesting and smart person she had met in decades, but it didn't matter so to speak because she was nothing to him. He had had the amazing New York culture of hot artists that she could never arise to.

"when do you think you will be laid off?"

"oh, I would have laid me off four years ago."

He cared about money more than he cared about love.
She was trying not to care about that, but boy did she.

Every time he disappointed her with not wanting to know who she was or why she thought the thing she did.

it was another log.

He gave her baseballs, but he did not give her kisses - even pecks - after he came inside her.

whatever it meant, she realized that she was nothing to him. All he thought of her as was something that distracted him from whatever bullshit in which he was involved. He never told her what it is, so she never knew.

As they made love, she was so "fuck yeah!" and he was so "maybe I'll find a better one". It took her a while to understand what that meant.

She wanted to find her voice.

He didn't give a fuck about her.

She finally understood what he was saying.

bye.
