Learning to Fall: bigger than my head.
This morning I got up like I do everyday and took Tribble for his walk and while we were out I saw Ms. Harriet on her porch reading the paper in her robe, smoking a cigarette and drinking coffee like she probably does everyday. She waved like she does every time she sees us and I waved back and Tribble pulled hard on his chain like he wanted to go see her like he always does, but today it was different.

Today was the first time I saw her since seeing her upper parts naked and for some reason that makes me look at her different, like today I looked real hard at her from the street imagining her swinging out all of a sudden from her robe and, even thought that wasn't probably going to happen since she had her robe all tied up tight around her little waist it was still nice to think about.

"They're huge!" Terry said when I told him in homeroom that I'd seen her this morning. "Bigger than my head."

I laughed, but then that sweet sick feeling came back to my stomach and thank goodness the bell rang and it was time for school.
