Well at least we're finished with April and stern black-clad Madonna. In May, we have a puzzler. Madonna is dressed in a k-mart-ish blue tank top with patched faded demin jeans. She has sunk to the floor in a semblance to Bono's cliché squatting-one-knee-up-with-elbow-on-knee-mic-to-face pose (although she doesn't have a mic). The backdrop is the red and white stripes of a huge American flag. Her eyes are closed. She has her half-clenched hand obscuring the left side of her face and her mouth half-open. All and all, I'm thinking: they couldn't have found anything better?
