My new t-shirt idea this weekend (and it's just one I remembered again - not really new) is: "I'd rather be drunk." There's actually a whole series of them: "I'd rather be sober." "I'd rather be high". If I were the consumer, naturally, I'd buy "I'd rather be sober." Anyway, I don't know if I've NAILED THIS INTO your psyche, but I'm quite a cyclical person. I've explained before how I eat the same thing for breakfast every day until I'm sick of it then I switch to something else. That's just one example. I have many others (and of course a long line of broken hearts - just kidding). My latest tendril is that pot is on it's way out. It's taught me a great great great amount of information, but it may be time to put it in a drawer for a while.
