2001

Not to be a horrifying freak, but god I love my life. What a funny night last night was! And the kicker was waking up (sure, a bit woozy) at 7:15 (sacrificed the making breakfast and coffee for fifteen more minutes) and seeing this sleepy, grumpy man in my bed - with dark brown hair sticking straight up in a bizarre amalgam of sleep head and punk rock. Ah, and then to walk outside my bedroom (accompanied by the ever-lover Stripey) and see Pads stretched out asleep on the fuschia throw pillow - amidst the trashed house. It was beautiful.... Then I went to my class and the prof just took our projects up and dismissed class. Lovely! I took a diverting scenic drive through two of the several bizarre subdivisions lining Carolina Beach Road (my favorites are "Equestrian Estates" and "Pilot's Ridge" - which has a tawdry, overgrown landing strip running through it.) Today I went in Red Lighthouse Estates and then just a road on the Island of bizarre mixed small houses. My boss is not in the office yet, has a trip departing at 1pm, so today should be highly tolerable.

Now about last night... To be completely honest, I would have to say that I loved Mark and my cozzies the best (we were tom cruise and penelope cruz - although we looked hardly anything like them) followed by Bo Webb - Hi from Razin Arizona and Jill Webb - Mr. Naked Man. Who am I kidding though? The competition was beyond tough. There were robots, poodles, ellen degeneres (kent), janet reno (greg - although he briefly shown as jewish robot), icelandic supermodels, etc. It was fabulous. I'm sure everyone hates me and thinks I'm a mean freak, but I really had a wonderful times. It was all good to me and the vibes were very gentle and quirky (if you believe in vibes). One of my favorite things is going to the wine bar and seeing Jacob - a man from one of my favorite jungle parties of yore - dressed in a prize-winning AWESOME cozzie. He was an old lady (Bernice) in a hovercraft. He was fabulous. Oh yeah, Matt Malloy had a great costume as well. He was a nebulous purple thing.

Ahhhhhhh Halloween I miss you. It was a full moon, a blue moon, and some star configuration. The temperature was parfait! I imbibed like tomorrow didn't exist, and I felt comfortable with that.

Love.
