i just got an order from drugstore.com and a sample of a new product was enclosed. the product is "cool mint listerine pocketpaks". what this entails is teenie, tiny "oral care strips" enclosed in a teenie, tiny plastic "pak". the strip works much the way a blot of acid would (i mean, i've been told how they work so i am assuming it's the same). you take this practically transparent strip, place it on your tongue and let it dissolve "to kill germs for a clean mouth feeling".
it is now minutes after the strip dissolved and i am totally left with very fresh, squeaky clean breath. but the 15 seconds it takes for the strip to dissolve are unbearable. there is still that unmistakable "listerine" taste, not to mention the gooey, gummy feeling of whatever the strip is actually made out of.
so when you see a commercial for this product don't even think for a second that you might love it. i just don't think you will.
