Happyrobot X
I don't even want to talk about happyrobot version 10. Really. I don't. All I know is that I just finished the last of the bourbon and my eyes are about to fall out I am so tired. First of all, why are their ten versions of this site already? That is what i want to know.
Did you see it yet?

Saturday Morning Quake
I was having these really weird dreams this morning... something about this girl throwing my digital camera into the ocean (let's not dwell on it). All of a sudden, in my dream there was an earthquake.
For whatever reason, I woke up and I wasn't sure what was happening, but I could swear my room was moving. I sit up, and look around, and see the cat on the floor on her belly with her legs out, as if holding on for dear life.
It's over pretty quick.
I am still half asleep, but I think that I don't want to continue this weird dream so i get up, use the bathroom, and sit down to check my email.

Mrs. Robot comes in twenty minutes later noticing that I was not in bed and asks groggily if i am ok, and what i am doing up at 8am on a Saturday.
I replied, "I couldn't sleep. I had this really scary dream about being in an earthquake".
She goes back to bed, and i do some work until about 10am when i turn on the radio and they are talking about the earthquake.
"Ah-ha!", i thought, "it was an earthquake!"

What a strange morning.

If and When I win the lottery
Winning the lottery is a common topic that I bring up with Matt. My whole 'lottery' fantasy is winning and doing happyrobot full time and not having to worry about money. It would be so fun to produce such an irrelevant website with a large budget. If I won the lottery, here is what would happen at happyrobot:

1. John Lawton would be paid to see and review movies.

2. Liz would be hired to identify fonts for me. She has this great skill of doing that and it comes in handy. I would just set her up somewhere with a wireless laptop/internet connection and a cell phone, so that I could reach her at any time if I had a question about a font.

3. Form the happyrobot movie studio where I would hire john and tamara (among others) to write the scripts for movies that I think up while drinking. Picture 3am phone call to Tamara, with me hollering into the phone, "It's like the Odd Couple, but they are pirates! Can you have that script on my desk in a week? Call Liz and get a good font before you print it out."

4. Buy the space in this really cool building I like near Union Square.

5. Produce WWMJD bracelets.

6. Matt would be paid his current salary to hang out with me and some other people and help to come up with extravagant, funny, but ultimately pointless things for happyrobot to do.

7. Feed some homeless and help some people.

8. Drink til our livers fall out.

9. Move Adina to NYC (by force if necessary).

10. Fund Two Noses.

11. Buy Lisa a new car.

12. Send Adele some baby gifts and maybe some sort of savings for the soup baby.

13. Buy Pat lunch.

14. Hire Derek back to do something.

15. Buy a car.

Last night Matt asked me if I actually played the lottery. I don't. He says that is probably the first thing I need to look into.

ok, look at this

Did you see the new Farm pics?

First Movie Idea
2:21am Tamara IM's me with this
you know, I keep having this idea for WB called "pirate booty", it's a racially balanced pirate ship that docks at a different port each week. The actors are all in their early twenties, and the deck swabber is Howie Mandel. It's also a reality show inside the ship, so you get to see all that sweet bunk-mate action that you know must go on in those swarthy ships. The show is basically that each week, one of the pirate hotties falls in love with a land girl (with a soundtrack underneath of both shawn colvin and usher, again with the balance) and in the end, he's forced to make her walk the plank. What do you think? It's got to be better than according to jim.
