Ten things I have learned from my job as person in charge of an endangered tree snail research and captive breeding facility.

Ants are dangerous and can eat your eyes.
Just because someone is in the same family doesn't mean they are nice.
It's ok to sleep during the day.
If you stay perfectly still in a misty forest the chances of someone finding you are pretty slim.
Take your time when it comes to reproduction.
Few people respect you until they meet you in person.
People who do not respect you are not allowed over.
There are times when spitting is appropriate.
Living in the trees is not such a bad idea.

Gentleness wins, most of the time.
