my brother and i hit this place called "vertigo" for a drink last night. it's a very retro diner with the logo from hitchcock's movie "vertigo" on the bathroom doors. kool.
they have some funky cocktails. i had the bloodlust which is cranberry vodka, cherry juice and a squeeze of lime served in a martini glass with a blow pop. yup, i said blow pop.
we wanted to try this other drink that had a funny name that i can't remember but it had all this messed up stuff in it like tequila, baileys and something or other. we wanted it because it's served with a slim jim and a smoke. a smoke!
they also serve food...but, hello, jambalaya for $17 in downtown RALEIGH? good granny.
