9.26.2001

Adam has gone to Winnipeg for a writer's festival and I have realised today that I am both a Canadian and a Trekkie in ways more profound than I imagined.

Sitting in the Red Green studio today for the launch of the new CBC television season (focus=integrating all the media under the CBC brand--duh!) . When I saw that Colm Meaney (Lt. O'Brien) will be starring in an historical mini series, I let out and involuntary sound that indicated excitement. How embarassing.

But not as embarassing as the one guy who laughed at Luba Goy, revealing himself to be the sole, elusive fan of Royal Canadian Air Farce.
