Well if you wanted to save them for children, you should have bought them "day-of."

Hallowe'en costumes of the past (I have always had sucky costumes). Here is proof:
4 yrs old: a little girl (nice one, mom)
5 yrs: a court jester (thanks Jackie, learning to sew in Home Ec. who stole pom-poms by cutting them of mom's bedspread)
6: a marching band/soldier
8: a detective
9: a detective
10: a detective
11: a punk-rocker (if punk-rockers wore sparkles on their faces and lots of white clothing).

But it wasn't so bad, and I got lots of candy and at least I wasn't one of those Jewish kids whose parents didn't let me go out on Hallowe'en cuz they used to kill Jews on that day in Europe or something.
