Fat Pat: Don't skip Breakfast
Okay everyone, here is the official word on Breakfast, with a little background thrown in for good measure. Hopefully, this will stop people from posting "Don't skip Breakfast" on every other post.

It started in Junior High School. Without fail, I was sick to my stomach every single morning. I would ride the bus to school, fighting not to vomit. The first half of the day, every day, I endured stomach cramps and nausea. It was terrible.

In High School, it got worse and better at the same time. What I mean by that is; I couldn't help but vomit first thing in the morning. That's how it got worse. I would vomit every day on the way to school. The good part about that, was once I vomited, the pain and nausea was gone. I considered that a fair trade off for several years.

It was drilled into me that Breakfast was the most important meal, so I never skipped breakfast. Eventually, I realized that I was just vomiting the breakfast back up, so why bother wasting my time. Amazingly, when I cut breakfast out - no more vomiting. Imagine that?

Jump ahead ten or twelve years. Basic training. You don't get to choose when you eat. They tell you eat - you eat. So, at 0500 and earlier every morning - breakfast. Shortly there after - vomiting. Eventually, the Drill Sergeants stopped the "Breakfast is the most important meal, Private!" broken record, and allowed me to NOT eat breakfast.

Jump ahead another six years. Present day. I don't eat breakfast - I don't vomit. I eat breakfast - I vomit. Simple math.

Therefore, for me, Breakfast is a very bad idea.

Any questions?

Side note:
When I post anything in the "Breakfast" Column - what I mean is - "Before Lunch"
