just back from a jaunt to massachusetts. we went to see craig's sister's new house. and to surprise his mom on her 60th birthday. she was wickedly surprised. we hired a photog to capture the party. poor mom was all tears.
anywho, craig's sis's new house is huge and gorge. it has what the yankee realtors call a "bonus room" above the garage which is now the play room. but the kids insist on calling it the bonus room.
my niece and nephew are nuts. adorable but nuts. both avery and justin are obsessed with the beatles. they've watched the "yellow submarine" 100 times. they know all the beatles songs. more than i know. they're only 3 and 5. jeez.
finally, my sis-in-law has this wonderful deck with patio furniture and plants. i spent most of my time there. it was a dreamy 70 degrees and breezy. i can't wait to leave the south!
