Four Visits to Disney
Before I start, since I live on the east coast, we are talking about the Disney in Florida, which I suppose is the primary one these days. Disney World? Land? I forget – if only there was some sort of information tool I could use to look the answer to this question.

Third Grade
This was great fun.
My little brother got scared on the Haunted House ride and my dad took him out. That’s noteworthy because they were led through all the crazy underground hallways – the Disney underbelly. The nerve center. The employee break room.
I also really enjoyed the Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.

Twelfth Grade
This was more fun than a snarky high-school senior should have had on vacation with his family. I forget why we went. Possibly to see relatives who were getting increasingly older? We drove down (I know this because I have never been on a plane with a member of my immediate family) but I don’t remember anything about the driving. Did I get to drive? Did I listen to CDs or tapes the whole time?

Highlights included riding the Haunted House ride two or three times (this time my brother did not get scared) and taking the little ski-lift/gondola things over the park while fireworks went off. For my parents, they adore this photo that my mom took of my dad, my brother, and I at Epcot center. My dad and brother have similar poses while I am trying to lean out of the photo. It’s framed in my parent’s kitchen.

Four Hours in the 2000s
Remember that? I think I wrote about it on “happyrobot dot com” (sharks!). I was in Orlando for “work” and when not floating around the lazy river or sitting in mind-numbingly irrelevant conferences, we went to Disney for a few hours. We ran into my boss there! In line at the Haunted Mansion.
We then had a great steak dinner.

Niece and Nephew
A few years ago my parents funded a trip to Disney for all of us. It was great fun. We stayed in the park at one of the resort hotels which meant that we could into the park on some nights after hours.
Sleeping with R2
Highlights include: The whole family riding the Haunted Mansion.
Also, my nephew and I riding the Buzz Light Year ride at 12:30am (BEST UNCLE EVER!). And going on the Star Wars ride (he bought a lightsaber (I bought him a crazy spinning R2D2)) and the Gran Prix ride (where he made race car noises (even though we were in a race car)).
They took a photo of my dad, my brother, and I which is framed in my parent’s kitchen now.
My brother took a photo of him and his son in the same spot at Epcot where we had taken the first one 20-some years earlier.

Oh, and Mrs. Robot and I went to a wine/food festival at Epcot. Crazy.
