Happy April Fools Day
It's April. How did this happen? Wasn't it February yesterday? Saturday may have been the single greatest day in New York City as far as weather goes. Good golly. We went to the new Paul Frank shop, and then walked all over the town until our feet fell off from walking too much. And then we met Ev+Jo for dinner at 26 Seats, which was uber-tasty. It gets the happyrobot thumbs up. Way up.

Ba-Ba-Ba-Birds
The birds finally found the bird feeder, but the cat didn't seem to care.

Which Colossal Death Robot Are You?

Island in the sun
You know, you might think that downloading the Olsen twins covering Weezer's 'Island in the sun' would be a real 'funny' thing to do. You know, smirky and funny. Well, it's not. It just sucks.
I am not sure what I expected, but it's actually this band that they are 'in'. There is this weezer-esque sounding lead singer guy, and then the girls sing with him on the chorus, and I swear it's not them. I don't know what they sound like when they are singing, but this is not them.
It's just not.

Trivia time: those twins were the youngest people to ever get a producer credit.

But I did download some Cameo. I love audiogalaxy (even though I have to hunt to kill all it's spyware).

Fresh Air! The big time!
I just read this article titled 'The Middle Mind' which was a great read, but also fun because of it's ragging on NPR's Fresh Air, which to some of us NPR-a-holics is close to blasphemy. But, he brings up some great points, especially dealing with her guests who too often are television related which can't be good. He also skewers (ow!) Joe Queenan, America's king smart ass.
Ah, just go read this.

What's on my Winamp
All Girl Summer Fun Band, and they sound exactly how you would expect.
And most of the time, that is a great thing.
