NY Auto Show
Total guilty pleasure, but I am going to the auto show to look at shiny cars. It should be fun. When I was a kid, I had this grandfather. He died, and my grandmother gave me his Road and Track magazines. I was 9 years old, and ever since then I have had a dorky love of shiny cars and stuff.
I don't think this is about some sort of spiritual connection with my grandfather, but more of a love of shiny things.

Hey! I'm back. Here are my pictures!

Gen-u-wine
Bush is on the radio talking about the middle east, and is once again butchering the english language. Mrs Robot is working on this documentary about the UN and has been watching footage of Bush. She says he is a total dork in person. Surprise.

Pot Growing Mama
Not that I want my mom to grow pot, or more exactly, not that I want anything to do with my mom and pot, this was a nice story about a cancer patient who's mom decides to help him deal with chemotherapy by growing 11 foot tall marijuana plants.
Aw, mom, you shouldn't have.
(I found this on Cruel.com)

Google's April Fools day prank
Very nicely done. Did you see it? Read about it here

Google's pigeon-driven methods make tampering with our results extremely difficult. While some unscrupulous websites have tried to boost their ranking by including images on their pages of bread crumbs, bird seed and parrots posing seductively in resplendent plumage, Google's PigeonRank technology cannot be deceived by these techniques. A Google search is an easy, honest and objective way to find high-quality websites with information relevant to your search.

Mrs Robot Writes...
I saw a flyer this morning that said, "Are you looking for a clean lady? Experienced and Professional."

Instant Mac
This is fun... makes it appear that you just installed OS8 on your Windows PC. I put this link in Mrs Robot's computer's start up menu. April Fools Fun!

Yahoo sucks my butt
Yahoo has re-set their user's preferences for spam and marketing. Check your account info, and you will probably see that stuff is all reset to get lots of fun mail. I never use my yahoo mail account for anything anyway, but still, it's kind of sucky for them to reset all this.
Be sure to click the YES box next to phone and mail solicitations, and then fill in the address and phone number of your least favorite person or company.
Here is yahoo's announcement about this...

In addition, we have reset marketing preferences for some of our users. If you are one of those users, unless you decide to change these preferences, you may begin receiving marketing messages from Yahoo! about ways to enhance your Yahoo! experience, including special offers and new features.

Creed sucks?
I think the most annoying band ever may be Creed. What do you think? I find their post-grunge grunge eddie vedder clone-esque sound and their self-rightousness to make a lethal combination. The teens sure love them, though. Ugh. The new neighbors sure love them, too.

Margie's Red Rose
We have a friend who is reviewing restaurants now, which may be the coolest job of anyone I personally know (I'm not using her name because I like being sneaky). We went to Margie's on 144th and had some fried chicken. It was a fun time because when we got there, it was closed. Some family member had died and for whatever reason she was out of vegetables and stuff, but she was nice enough to let us in anyway. We had the choice of fish or fried chicken (um, hard choice) with lima beans and potato salad. The fried chicken was pretty awesome, although a bit thin, meat wise, but I think I am just spoiled with overly processed chicken. It was a fine meal, and she totally took care of us.

Damn kids
On the way home from dinner, some kids yelled at us to "go back to Madison Avenue". Huh? "I am a unemployed dork from Brooklyn, jackoff", is what I wanted to say.
Madison Avenue my ass.
What's on Madison Avenue anyway? I honestly can't remember ever being on Madison Avenue in all of my time here.
