Pain
I bashed my head in the chicken room in the barn. Right as our pal Linda said, "watch your head"... and two seconds later I had rammed the top of my head into the low door frame. It hurt like hell. It really did. My head still feels funny on the spot that I hit.
I don't listen.

And before we got here, they had some sort of housecleaner who came in and waxed and cleaned their nice hardwood floors. Linda said, "watch out, the floors can be slippery".
Last night I am closing the blinds, barefoot - no socks, and all of a sudden slip and crash down on this small table that was packed full of stuff. The table shattered and do-dads and myself went everywhere. The lights blinked. Next thing I knew, Mrs. Robot and Bette the dog are in the bedroom and I am being picked up like I am an old man. Do-dads are everywhere and the little table is totaled.

I have a scratch on my forehead. No idea how I got that.

Mrs. Robot ran into another low hanging thing near the chicken area. Not as hard, but still bad. Damn low ceilings and door frames in the chicken room.

Oh, and this isn't painful, but their computer stinks. I tried fixing some code with Microsoft Front Page... that is painful. What a piece of shit that program is.
And it acts funny. They got piles of junk running on here (CD burning software with no CD Burner) which I think is the cause of it all.

Ma + Pa
Mom & Dad came to visit us on the farm, too. They are fine. The animals all showed off for them, especially the little bird. He kept saying "pretty bird". He thinks he's real smart. Well, I guess he is.
Bette the housedog was very well behaved around them.

Oh, that goat
The last day at the farm, the goat figured out how to open the door to the henhouse, even though there were two latches on it. The goat is smarter than we give her credit for. She likes to get in there and eat the chicken feed. But the problem was that she let's the hens out, and that makes the roosters all hot and bothered. When we came down to check on them there were chickens being chased by roosters, and the dogs were outside of the fence running like nut cases and barking at the chickens. We then had to herd everyone back to their own places, which was hilarious to watch I am sure, and calm down the roosters and swat at the goat who would try to eat our shoe laces or pants legs.
It was a laff riot in hind sight.

Pretty
Spring has arrived! The trees are blooming, the birds are chirping, and tomorrow it will be in the 80's. Awesome-a-power!
We flew back to the big stink yesterday (Sunday) and the plane flew up the west side over the Hudson River and allowed us a spectacular view of the city - it was amazing. This was the first time I had flown this way on a clear day, and it was so cool (they usually go towards the east over Brooklyn and queens when I fly).
I really want to hire a pilot and go out and shoot some aerial shots. I did some aerial photographs when we lived in Wilmington, and it was so fun (after I quit freaking out because of a spooky take off). I had to shoot some sort of cargo ship that was docked there, and after I did that the pilot flew me all over town and I shot pictures of my apartment building and stuff like that.
Fun.

Poopheads
You know that lady Celine Dion? Her new CD has that crazy 'anti-copyright' technology that doesn't allow you to play it on a computer cd drive, thus preventing you from copying it.
Phillips apparently owns the license for compact discs, and technically Sony can't actually call her new release a "CD" because it's technically not...
that the encrypted discs are a corruption of the Compact Disc(TM) technology such that Phillips can yank their licenses from the record companies. The record companies would then have to invent a new term for this format, such as "encrypted unduplicatable disc" to avoid breaching their licenses with Phillips and defrauding the public.

Cool!
BTW, I want the RIAA and all the music industry to know that I downloaded the entire soundtrack from the movie Monsoon Wedding, and then last week I went out and actually bought the CD. Bought! With my money!

Puzzling
The Japanese have officially confused and amused me. I was watching that video for the song 'Yatta' (yes, I know it's so 2001). If you haven't seen it, I recommend checking it out.
Watch the video | Read about it | The hyakugojyuuichi-style parody

Penis
We saw Y Tu Mama Tambien last week. I am not sure where to even start, review wise. But it was a fine movie with brilliant acting that I would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind... lots of sex.
Good movie.
