Beulah was on Conan last night, and they rocked the MF'n house. They are playing Saturday night at the Bowery Ballroom, so go get your tickets and meet us there. Me and John will be on the front row screaming Beatle-Mania style with tears running down our cheeks...
Heat
I am resisting using the Buster Poindexter inspired headline of "Hot! Hot! Hot!". Ick. But, it is hot as... something here in the big stink. According to the ol' happyrobot start page, here in NYC:

it's not even noon and it's 86 degrees?! And I have a damn job interview kind of thing today. Bastards! So, if you aren't here in NYC, just know that it's hotter right now than pretty much of all last summer.
Sleepover
Last night was slumber party 2002 when our pal Raquel came over. They are busting up her street at night now with jack hammers and she can't get any sleep. Poor Rockell. How the hell can someone justify using jack hammers in a residential area - all night. Don't you think someone at City Hall would realize that was a major quality of life issue?
At least when they film a movie, you can sometimes harass them to the point that they will put you up in a hotel if your house is somehow in the middle of it all.
MPG Movies
"Hey, what is up with those movies in the MPG Movie show? Those aren't real movies, are they?"
That is right, friend. Those are examples of my new favorite feature of my camera: the ability to shoot the movies as 'clip motion'. Basically allows you to shoot each frame and then puts them all together in an animated gif.
Neat, huh?
