It's not that I haven't been drinking, not that at all. But somehow, Smirnoff and passion-orange juice doesn't seem to need a review.

So onto the fat Bastard 2002 shiraz.
It was totally on sale. The save $9 variety. I was looking for a roasted chicken but they were all gone so I felt somehow justified buying a wine that would have ordinarily cost as much as dinner.
Anyway, When I first poured a glass I thought it smelled very peppery, which was nice, but after letting it breathe, it opened up and there were some really jammy aromas in the glass. It had a really nice color, light and summer sunset-y and it had a very clean "leave" in the glass.
(I don't really know what to call it so I just made that up)
yum yum.
It made watching "Bring It On, Again" more fun and made me forget about Peter Jennings for a while.
I don't know if it will last the night.
