we kept hearing and seeing military transports fly overhead since the deployment last week. my heart beat a little faster everytime i heard the distinct chop-chop-chop of the propellers. the local news has shoved cameras in the face of every woman that has a husband/boyfriend/son/brother leaving for iraq. i hate all of this. i've stopped saying "if" we go to war and just say "when" we go to war. it's not possible that this is the only way.
