If you plant lilac bushes in your yard, I promise to come by and visit every Victoria Day weekend (Mr. Hand, this means you!) Nothing smells sweeter than damp lilac blooms at night... The dude kept snipping them from unsuspecting bushes and sticking them behind my ear. I tried to grab some light purple ones and nearly got caught. We are such prudy delinquents.
For our part, we bought some flowering baskets and planted some herbs and now our mini-deck is a lovely urban retreat. We breakfasted on the patio two days in a row. Sipping coffees and soaking in the heat off the concrete. It was lovely.
Not much else to say on this gray Tuesday posing as a Monday, I hope it ends soon.
