Gator Country: calling all comedians
nope, this isn't a comedy piece!
just a shout out:
i'm on the board of directors of Sojourn, a battered women's (and their children) shelter in Santa Monica, CA (on the web at www.opcc.org). they are having a comedy benefit night October 11th (Tuesday). 90% of the funds raised go directly back to helping women and children. so far, they have booked Paul Hughes and Beth Lapidus. but we need about 4-5 more comedians. it will be held at the Skirball Cultural Center from 7-10 (7, the drinks/food starts; 8-10 is comedy).
