mostly i watch tv just to find out what the BIG deal is. i rented the first season of "sex and the city" just to see what all the hub was about. it's won so many awards. i figure if i can just crack the code for SOMETHING in life, i'll have it all worked out.
the verdict? the show is really cute and really funny. completely baffling to a married girl like me but genuinely funny. totally unrealistic, of course. no one ever seems to work, they eat whatever they want and never workout, buy $300 shoes and go out to eat all the time. hmmm. the girls are always having sex, always obsessing about "finding someone" and always dating someone with more money than god. my single life was never like that (nor too many other people i know.)
funniness? one of the episodes was about the main character accidentally farting in her boyfriend's bed and being horrified by it. now that's comedy if you ask me!
