happy 4th, pony!
here's what i know:
1. online predators, spam and forward emails be damned - the often cursed web brought us closer to a little lady in canada and she shall thus be called "pony".
2. initial email conversations with rich that went a little something like this: "but wait...how do you know her? she just emailed you? but you KNOW her, right? you never met her? but how did she find us? she just did? but how? i met 54 people this week in person and none of them was as cool as pony....so how did you meet her? you never even MET her? i mean, it's taken me 20 years of friendship to REALLY get to know someone and i really like her and you're telling me we met her on the inter-web? hmmm. do they even have the "world wide web" in canada? okay, tell me again who introduced you to her...."
3. my favorite photo of her is the one with pony and raquel enjoying fresh matzo.
4. i have promised my baby a pony if she makes an appearance before her due date. and by "pony" i mean a canadian gal named adina. pack your bags, adina - you might be on your way to north cackalacky!
