Hating Flash - rebuttal #1
WilliamJ writes: due to strong feelings- I must send this rebuttal to the recent "why i hate flash" entry in robot journal. The reason there is occasional suck in the flash world, e.g. brendon bensons "biography"- is because of less-than-able flash designers. Brendon's biography would have looked just fine if they had used flash's "dynamic text" with embedded fonts as opposed to converting the text to a graphic, which is what Mr. Benson's designer obviously did.
Ok, you are right William. I am in agreement with you, although I still like just plain ol' text.

I took a little dumb job for the next couple of weeks. Wish me luck.
Monday rocks
Once again, being unemployed on a beautiful Monday morning/afternoon is amazing. Mondays when jobless are perfect. Quiet streets. I had to go to the bank, and the weather was perfect and the sky was blue and birds were chirping and I realized that I might live in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods ever.
Brooklyn kicks ass (but that doesn't mean you should move here - I hear manhattan is really cool).
