she couldn't close the dryer door anymore. she had thought it might have been the wine, but when she tried again this morning, it still wouldn't shut.

and the toilet ran.
now.

simply devastating.

but perhaps that's what robot was for - telling her how to make toilets stop running - wasting water.

but robot didn't seem interested much in helping humanity. it seemed more interested in making you want to connect with it. she pondered pets and AI - how bizarre. maybe.

the petsitter hadn't written back with the crazy cost of babysitting her six cats while she took care of one cat in her parents home.
it worried her.
so much did.

and that's what had been kind of good about fucking Andrew. she deposited all her worries into him, and he had always said, "it's ok." maybe that had been his use. and she guessed it was interesting to get a counseling masters degree from the hell of making a huge mistake going on a second date with him just because he was so jazzed about her persona.

the peace lily had a new leaf forming. in another world, she'd be ecstatic, but the peace lily was only her focus for maybe a second of her life when she was writing on the happiest of robots - like the fragrant bush outside her window covered in bees - glorious bees - only fleeting

and this - another diatribe with no form or meaning.
dear dear reader
how sorry I am that you've followed this far along for nothing. no redemption arc - no suicide - no drama - just whinge whinge whinge.

how many people do you know that even employ the word whinge
maybe he had known a lot.
maybe that was why she was so dismissible to him. he had known writers and filmmakers and interesting women whom he'd said about "she's someone men wanted to fuck and just said it was Todd's camera when the pretentious guy who wanted to fuck her asked about cameras as slam dance."

"my wedding was in slam dance. the first one."

"so anyway, she told him that and he just looked at her. it was hilarious. Todd's camera."

she understood, but it took a long long time.
she guessed she wasn't that special to him and that he was happy just filling in a new lady to have shallow convo with for months then go "WTF Women!" when it ended.

and it ended because she had said something that seemed like a French novel maybe
"are you choosing me or are we done?"

that was nothing like a French novel.
