Film and Television Rights: Begging the Question

It may make me seem like some Saphire-lite with a sugar headache, but I'm tired of hearing "Begs the question" used wrong on smart shows like Veronica Mars (every week) and KCRW's The Business. Claude, Veronica! You're not the only ones by far, but stop already. The phrase does not mean how you intend it: "invites the question" or "makes one question" or "causes me to ask" or whatever! It means using circular or faulty logic, or something.
