Gorgeous, hot days. As I hop home, people bike past me, their hair blowing in the wind. Every now and then, I will hear someone's breaks squeak as they stop to gawk at my cast. They make this face which I interperet as part empathy, part gloating: "That sucks--it being summer and all." Yeah, buddy, thanks. I hadn't thought about that today.
