The new critter in my otherwise lovely apartment: Fleas.
The whole building has them, I think.
Perhaps the flea medicine that Emily and John gave their cats has made the fleas jump ship and feast on my ankles.
Some notes about fleas:
they bite you and leave tiny welts that are super itchy.
they can survive for months without blood.
they have a hard exoskeleton, making them impossible to crush.
boy, do those critters jump!
They look like flax seeds
Diseases Transmitted By Fleas include: tapeworm, Murine Typhus, Plague.
I slept at Chris'last night. Tonight I clean, spray, and shudder.
