I hate hard boiled eggs. I have told you this before. My mother likes to describe how, even before I could speak, I would shove eggs away when she tried to feed them to me.
The smell makes me gag. This is not me being dramatic. They just smell so bad to me, it engages my gag reflex. I don't know why. I accept that it smells different to you.
So the other day, when a coworker was eating egg salad at his desk, I felt sick. I had to leave the room, but the smell lingered for ages after he finished.
He is a thoughtful person, and today he emailed me to tell me there will be more egg salad sandwiches in the future. For a good reason (he is iron deficient, and eggs are a cheap and easy source).
Can you think of other, less smelly forms of iron?
