I used to believe the lyrics to the chorus of Springsteen's, "Blinded by the Light," as performed by Manfred Mann's Earth Band, were:
"Blinded by the light wrapped up like a doosher with your mother and your wife!" I'd no idea what a doosher might be.
On muggy summer days, I'd drag myself around the dusty yard, sucking on scuppernong grapes, and sing it loud.
