I just want to say how DELIGHTED I am that the Detroit Red Wings beat the NY Islanders tonight. This Islander lose gave the Rangers just one more night to think they can make the playoffs … enjoy your night Rangers enjoy your night.
I know this sounds as if I am not confident the Rangers will make it … I'm sad to say that is true. If they did make the playoffs - GREAT but as the magic 8 ball would say "signs point to No" (or something like that).
My prediction two months from now it will be Toronto vs. Dallas for the cup. How interesting would that game be? I mean I wouldn't know who to route for. Dallas has Zuby, Modano and Lehtinen. The Leafs have Domi, Green and Sundin. Both with two ex-Rangers I love. I might have to favor Dallas though since I own a Zubov jersey. Sad YES, but true.
