The Fortune Cookie
Last night, I broke open a fortune cookie, and there was no fortune inside. I was surprised. I had never gotten a fortuneless fortune cookie before.
I tried to eat the fortune cookie, but it didn’t taste right. I wondered if the little piece of paper adds to the flavor.
Since there was no fortune in my fortune cookie, I decided to write my own fortune and pass it on to everyone else.
Here is my fortune for all of you :
You will be wealthy and prosperous in all aspects of your existence, and you will win eight gold medals at the olympics.
